Geert van Kuyck Executive Biography
Geert van Kuyck was promoted to Executive Vice President and CMO of Royal Philips Electronics in January 2008. He joined Philips as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Management in the Fall of 2005.
Prior to Philips, he was Vice President of Marketing for EMEA at Starbucks Coffee Company, where he helped to build the Starbucks retail business across Europe and the Middle East and was responsible for product category performance as well as marketing, communications and sustainability. Before Starbucks, Geert spent almost 15 years with Procter & Gamble, holding various positions in Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the USA, with a combination of local, European and global responsibilities across a diverse range of businesses.
Geert van Kuyck holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Leuven, Belgium. He is a Belgian national and is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with his wife, son, and daughter.
