According to the February 2017 CMO Survey, conducted by Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Deloitte LLP, and the American Marketing Association, CMOs plan to substantially increase spending on social media (up 90 percent), mobile marketing (up 127 percent), marketing analytics (up 375 percent), and other technologies in the next three to five years.
